Based in Minneapolis, Swede Hollow Furnishings had a pre-existing family lumber business with great standing in the community. Their request was to transform their business into a modern recycled and reclaimed materials hub that also sells beautifully crafted reclaimed furniture pieces in the Scandinavian mid-century design style. They also requested for their brand to come across as “simple and timeless.”

I created a clean and sophisticated identity that celebrates their commitment to quality and sustainability, as well as an identity that will resonate with the iconic Scandinavian mid-century design scene within Minneapolis. I chose to implement a simple yet witty tone-of-voice, linking back the verbiage to specific aesthetics within the Scandinavian design style.
